Description

Join us for a special evening of bluegrass with The Walker Brothers. Tickets are available online AND in house at Krazy Kup. As the Walker Brothers, Cory (banjo and dobro), Jarrod (mandolin )and Tyler (guitar), have played festivals and events in Pennsylvania, Georgia, New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota , Tennessee and throughout Florida including the Plant City Strawberry Festival as featured entertainers 2009-2012. They have recorded 3 CDs. The CD “New Branches” had extensive national airplay and was heavily played by Sirius Satellite Radio. This album featured guest artists Ricky Skaggs and his band, country artist Chad Brock, Phil Leadbetter, and members of Mountain Heart among others. Cory and Jarrod have played on a CBS television special with Keith Urban in 2004 and on ABC with Earl Scruggs and Ricky Skaggs in 2005. They opened the CMA FANFEST in Titan Stadium in 2004 and again played Titan stadium in 2005, in front of approximate 40,000 people both times. They have played the Grand Ole Opry several times as Cory and Jarrod Walker as well as with other bands. They have played nationally as well as in Canada, France, Italy and Japan. . . Cory is a 2013 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Jarrod will graduate MTSU this spring. Cory and Jarrod play for national touring groups Sierra Hull and Highway 111 and Missy Raines and the New Hip respectively.
