You’re invited to take part in Project Phoenix, a hurricane recovery training exercise hosted by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC). This interactive training is designed to help small businesses strengthen their disaster preparedness and recovery strategies in the event of a major hurricane.
This spring, TBRPC will host six training exercises across the Tampa Bay region—one in each county. Participants will work through a realistic, no-fault scenario simulating the challenges businesses may face following a worst-case Category 5 hurricane. The exercise will explore key decisions, coordination challenges, and operational pressures while encouraging collaboration between small businesses and emergency management partners.
Attendees will also gain access to valuable recovery resources and build connections that help strengthen our region’s ability to respond and recover after a disaster. Join us for this important opportunity to prepare, collaborate, and help protect our local business community.
Small Businesses are Invited!
